| Robert is right. and in these down economic times can you really trust your employer? i offer everyone two choices. take the blue pill and forget we had this conversation. Get plugged back into the matrix, and live the rest of you life as a copper top for the government err i meant machines. Or you can take the red pill and i'll show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Extra food for thought. according to ACS American cancer society. 90% of all heart attacks happen monday morning 6am. oh the irony Mark |

| dude i really love your posts, i find them constructive, usefull and interesting. PS: i will watch the vid later when im awake , but a fast comment, i never thought school would make you or give you a major performance in your life, than the one you can get to yourself, school helps, but as always depends on you, you can by smart but shy or dumb and pretty, at the end, your personality/actions are what really matter. |

| your on the right track munir. i believe you have what it takes if you applied everything you learned from the game into real life. there's a quote that goes with what you said. my business is almost available in spain. - formal education will earn you a living and self education will earn you a fortune - jim rohn irene. no need to get rich illegally i know you were joking. but there are many of people that are in your field that jump to my business cause its still health and helping people. but just now not only will you be helping people but you will be able to help yourself. if you guys truely want to learn i can show you the way. |

| This is something I've thought about aaaaaaalot because I'm at a standpoint in my life where I can go to college and work for the rest of my life and all that shit but I don't really want to ~_~ So I've been thinking about other options and this does come into play - but that video just looks like something that prays on the poor and ignorant people that failed to do what I just mentioned. Either way this topic is pretty interesting imo~ Deleted all the bullshit posts btw |

| While I appreciate that, yeah, the economy does suck now and it's hard to get a job and this kind of shit can be appealing, the way you talk is like you believe that everyone should be following this kind of strategy. But the matter is that getting to that position now is incredibly, incredibly difficult versus how it would be normally and how you talk about a job like it's some horrible thing stealing your VERY LIFE FORCE (OMG EVERYONE IS A SLAVE) is ridiculous. You realize if people weren't doing these jobs the world would come to a standstill? Copper-top for the matrix? Lol. You're not being a battery for some robots with advanced AI, you're being a battery for your family, your neighbors, the human world. It's being a functional and necessary part of society. If it works for you, that's cool, but it's not going to work for the overwhelming majority and it shouldn't. |

those that are afraid of risk are the ones short handing themselves. if you read his books you'd get the idea. school has breed us to get good grades get a stable job. and retire 65 and poor. it all begins with mind set. if you think your gonna fail like you mentioned... then more then likely you'll fail. teachers are poor themselves giving the american dream that you wil retire comfortability. but how can broke people teach you how to be rich when they themselves are broke.
bottom line: "why put yourself in a situation where you use 100% of your efforts, when you can have 1% of thousands of peoples efforts?
income breaks into 3 catagories
EARNED INCOME: you trade hours for dollars and there is no leverage. bad side is highly tax 50% PORTFOLIO INCOME: homes and stocks: capital gains, Taxed 20% PASSIVE INCOME: do the work onces get paid for it over and over. Taxed 0% |

Taxed 0% | You don't even get my point. I speak in a much more objective, 'bigger picture' type way while your concerns are for an individual and honestly kind of forced upon people. No, if you read his book, it isn't going to work 99.999999999% of the time because IF IT DID everyone who has read it would be starting up their own businesses and the economy would be folding in on itself even more. Furthermore, with the 'if you think you're going to fail, you will' bit, no, it's not mindset, it's statistics. A person can believe in themselves all they want but if they don't have the ideas, tact, and skills to pull this kind of thing off THEY WON'T PULL IT OFF. Likewise, if someone doubts themselves but has these things, they can still pull it off as long as they keep their emotions out of it.
Money does not equal happiness either, and some people have no desire for the excess. Me? I'll be happy doing something I love and only making $150k a year because it suits my wants and needs and it's something I'm passionate about. If you need to build a company and be a rich bastard to be happy, w/e, but afaik most people don't. Having too much money is imo just as bad as not having enough.
What I'm saying is be more flexible and objective with how you see and present things instead of EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE RICH FUCK YEAH. It makes you seem like a dick. |

when i use the word rich i mean financially free. and it is mind set your right. if you think your gonna fail you will fail. the statistic is true 9 out of 10 fail. but ARE YOU WILLING TO FAIL??? even kiyosaki failed over three times bankrupt. even Donald trump lost his billions more then 4 times. but its people like you that give up after failing the first time... thats why there isnt that many people who are financially free. and if you really think 150k per year is enough ... get real... not when prices of everything keeps going up. besides you are in the highest tax bracket you loose 50% of your 150k. that comes out to 75k.. if you get a girlfriend and a house... that won't be enough. be more realistic. not only that. if you do what you love for the next 40 years day in and day out. i don't think you'll like it anymore
case in point a person that likes to fix up cars, he gets a job a a mechanic. eventually because it became a job. wont even bother to work on his own car anymore.
2nd case point my friend who loves art, graduated from prestigious art school that also put him into 6figure debt. job multiple jobs with art. its 5 year later and he tells me he hates art.
3rd case in point my friend with a PHD. got it so he can help people. just had a cardiac arrest recently due to all the work related stress. not only that he has all this money but has ZERO time to enjoy it or relax.
i have 10 years on you in REAL LIFE EXP... thats equivalent to me being a master and you just got your lv 40. don't be mad cause you feel suspect to the brainwashing we all got from school. how we are told to get good grades, get a job in what we love. just to work till your old and retire with 401k's and pension plans that will no longer exist when you retire.
the baby bloomers make up the worlds largest population. over 75million people. all those baby bloomers are all hitting the 60-75 year age group. all there money is in 401k's, stock market etc etc. now... if all these people retire and pull out money. lets say 75million people pull out $1000 out of various banks, stock markets etc etc. thats over 75billion dollars that just went out of the economy. that is half the reason we are in a recession. cause a huge chuck of money is no longer in the market. the other reason is we are not taught finance in school. and you have all these smart ego headed people that don't know how to manage money running our government. its almost like having a broke person teach you how to become rich when he is not rich himself.
i totally get your point and thats why i share the truth... cause they will not teach you this in school... one day 10-20 years from now you will finally see things they way i see it ... and you will say that gokou006 was right. and by then it will be to late for you to change your situation. |
