Debate: Does Intelligent Design deny the Existence of God?

Intelligent Design says that someone or something created everything, Biblical Creationism merely extends this by saying that God is that someone, and explaining in what order He did it. I don't see that there's any doubt that nothing in "Intelligent Design" contradicts the existence of God.

Intelligent design promotes the idea that our world exist following a certain plan or someone's will as oppossed to it being created by sheer coincidence. This being said it doesn't trully define the"who" and so it is open to interpretation. To a roman catholic one may say its Christ, to a buddhist it s Buddah and so on and so forth. This concept I believe, is a modest attempt of religious groups to oppose science and an indirect proof of God.

that doesnt promotes the idea of any plan or someone's will, itelligent design is an imperfect copy of how nature works. if you belive in god, then your thinking will explain it as there's no free will, but wrong, the idea of intelligent design just shows that life was created by nature, that many of us got wrong with god.

I was simply definining the idea of " Intelligent Design", just as any dictionary. I wasn't making a stand point as to whether or not God exist nor if we have our own free will. Besides, as an individual,I dont believe in destiny. We choose our own paths, Life becomes as what you choose it to be!!

I don't think intelligent design denies the existence of God.
not talking about God like the religion, it's something superior to our knowledge that probably helped in the creation of universe. other religions may call him with other names: Supreme Architect of the Universe, Allah,Zulu, Etc.
all those names refering just to one idea. Something intelligent wich helped in creation of universe.
Why do I say this? Because since the creation of this enormous mass of nothingness filled with planets, stars, black holes and several other unknow things... everything has just been perfect!
look at the world how it works... almost as perfect as human body and that equilibrium it's not just because. the way how elements, and other things arranged in the perfect quantity to make components wich arranged to make more complicated things that formed planets and in one planet everything went perfect to made life happens it is not a coincidence.

sorry for my sucky english but I can argue better in spanish.
