What rules apply to getting someone to tank for you without exp going sheit?

I was using Balls to tank for my level 65 psy, but got no exp.
Then used my 86BP to do it, and I got normal exp.

sl0th once wrote in the forum, i think it was sl0th, that k-sing an aoe is impossible because the exp will go to the char that hitted first
maybe it works after a certain damage inflicted to the mob
try collecting without weapons

Uhm... Let's say it like this.

(Long time ago for example)
Me on Mygrapefruit wich is full STA training at popcranks. Little donnie is only 103 but high INT so he do "high" dmg. We gather many mobs wich I (mygrapefruit) can tank and he helps me killing them without them hitting him.

We are in the same party wich is why he can do damage on the mobs and we both get awsome exp.

I used Josh's BP today, and it worked fine.
It's really weird tho, I tried on s4 and it didnt work, relogged to s3 and it worked again.
Weird shit.
As for damage, I was using his knuck, so when collecting each mob was taking around 2k damage lol.
