Builds

Hmmm. Elementors use two types of Stat Points.

* Stamina - HP, Defence Rate
* Intelligence - MP Pool, Damage of Spells

Now, for AoE, Elementor builds are as varied as any other build. Intelligence varies from around 30 Int to pure Int, depending on the character. I'll go through a few builds.

Now before we go on...

Rutiene's evasion build? It works perfectly for her, and maybe modified or similar versions for others, but some won't like it at all.
High-int builds? Maybe people love the windfield and run tactic, but there are some like myself who can't stand it.
High-sta? Others love being able to tank and destroy the mob, without worrying about death or the mob running away.
Hybrid? Well, I can't even say anything about this. I'm a hybrid, but I know my build isn't the same as, say, Tbuk's or Eber's.

Another reason why I love this class. Your build conforms around you and how you grind, think, strategize.
It's not a "this much sta so you can survive some hits and this much dex so you can constantly crit" bowjester, a "xxx str, this much dex, this much sta" blade...
A side-note I'd have written myself, but Khellen has already put it perfectly for me. Good job ^___^

------------

Full stamina - You'll tank great... but thats around it. Your elemental masteries will only last 30 seconds, your damage will be minimal, and because of far more spread out spawns at level 80+, full stamina is pretty useless. Not recommended.

*
* Good tanking

* Low damage
* Poor PvP

------------

60 Int, rest Stamina My build from 60->80. It's a great build for me, taking advantage of the bigger, more tightly packed spawns at the lower levels with the Stam, but still being able to deliver considerably good damage.

Another advantage to this build is that it can adapt to a hybrid build (explained later), whenever you want. Just keep pumping stamina until you feel you've reached a comfortable amount, and then pump int. 2 builds without a restat.

*
* Good tanking
* Fairly good PvP

* Not the best damage compared to other builds

My old build - 60 Int rest Stam Elementor in action:

------------

1:1 Hybrid build Never tried the build, but I know people who have, and it works for them. It means good tanking, along with decent damage, and you can adapt to higher Int (or stamina, be the case) whenever you want. Not much more to say.

*
* Decent tanking
* Decent damage
* Good PvP

* Nothing to really excel in PvM-wise, may prove a disadvantage at some points

------------

~60 Sta rest Int The safe Int build, and my build. Your damage will be great, but if you need it, you've got some Stam to back you up. You should take advantage of the skill Windfield (explained later) to kill monsters using the Hit-and-run method (explained later also) in order to get hit the minimal amount of times.

*
* Great damage
* Suprisingly decent tanking
* Good PvP

* Low HP, can die easily

My 60 Stam rest Int Elementor in action:

Quality's a bit lame... but it's 6.2k damage to the Green Trillipies (wind vs earth), and 4.7k damage to the Blue Roaches (wind vs wind). Level 87, +5/6 sets along with +3/3 wind Historic Staff.
------------

Full Int Not for the faint-hearted. Your HP will be minimal, so you will either be tanking very few monsters, or will have mastered the technique of the Hit-and-run tactic. However, if used well, this build is great. Damage is one of a kind, and because Hit-and-run means you can take as many monsters as you want, levelling will be very fast.

However, if you are an Elementor starting out, then this build is not recommended. But if you have the guts, go for it. It takes a while to get used to, but it is still fast levelling when you are used to it.

*
* Best damage you can possibly get
* Great for smaller spawns such as Glaphans

* Very low HP, very vunerable to crit-chain kills

Quote:
What's a 'crit-chain kill'?

- Basically, when you have say, to give an example, 8 monsters attacking you, and enough of them lay a critical hit on you at the same time to kill you before you have time to heal. Low HP builds suffer worse than those with more, but it happens to all AoEr's one time or another.

Well, there's all you need to know about Elementor builds. It's pretty simple, more Int means more attack power, more Sta means more tanking power and HP. There's no perfect balance between the two, pick what you want, where as Khellen has already stated, there are no set builds for an Elementor. There are no speedbreaks you need to work to. There is no hit rate. Just xx int and xx sta, no set build. You don't even have to follow the builds I've suggested, you could ignore the set values and make one that suits you.

Everybody in the Elementor world is different. One day I'll come across an Elementor that is hitting me for 5.5k a hit unbuffed in PK which I can take down in 2 hits, and there'll be another that will be hitting me for 1.5k, but I can't beat their 10k HP.

We have the most diverse builds by far in the game. We can pull off both extremes, and everything in-between, and all have the potential to level fast. Know any other classes that can do that as efficiently?

PvM Builds, common build for siege is around 50 sta rest int, but it's hard to make the right build, you need the experience, you get from sieging, depending on your enemies and your current stuff, you can go high sta or high int.

Any tips on better ways to Hit and Run/Kite? I've succeeded in dying no less than 8 times trying to figure out how to kite pops and trees Sad
