Eh, star ocean 3 was a little weak story wise, that being said it was probably one of my top 3 games on the ps2. This one plot wise is pretty typical jrpg stuff with some nice twists, but the battle system in this game is outright amazing.

The battle system was smooth but that 3 person free range shit has been raped out by the tales series so it wasn't really that innovative but it wasn't unbearable. And I hope your definition of nice twist isn't angels coming out of the sky to destroy both of the main antagonists in the game or finding out the whole world is a video game created by some guy. Sad
